| | SIG - High Performance Cluster/ Grid Computing Cluster computing has been attracting more and more attention from both the industrial and the academic world for its enormous computing power and scalability. Beowulf type cluster, for example, is a typical High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster system. Availability, as a key attribute of the system, needs to be considered at the system design stage and monitored at mission time. Moreover, system monitoring is a must to help identify the defects and ensure the system’s availability requirement. analysis of new genetic materials are ever hungry for vast computational resources. To optimise in terms of cost & efficiency , harnessing of High Performance Cluster Computing is desired. To meet this objective, its time for collaborative learning and research in this field is need of the hour. CSI would like to play a vital & significant role by inviting professionals across the nation / organisation by voluntaring their contribution to strengthen India's dominance in the area of High Performance Cluster Computing. Rationale and objectives of the SIG
