Openings at CSI


Applications are invited for following positions at CSI HQ, Education Directorate, and specific Chapters.
1.    Chief Manager (Conference and Membership services) at HQ, Mumbai
2.    Senior Manager (Education & Certification Programs), Education Directorate, Chennai
3.    Regional Managers for West (location: Mumbai), North(Delhi), East (Kolkata), South (Bangalore)
4.    Accounts Officer at HQ, Mumbai

All positions require accountable, target-oriented performance from the incumbents. The positions carry suitable remuneration packages comprising of a fixed component plus variable performance-based incentives.

All positions are on 2 years contract basis.

Profile for positions

1.  Chief Manager (Conference and Membership services)

  • Conceptualize and execute plans for CSI conferences at different cities and co-ordinate CSI National and other technical programs from the HQ
  • Develop suitable collateral for promotion of the CSI brand
  • Carry out liaison with Government and industry for CSI programs
  • Plan and Execute CSI membership among corporates, government and individuals
  • Set up mechanisms for Management of membership services; co-ordinate and promote membership with help of chapters, institutional members and student branches
  • Incumbent should have suitable experience of at least 10-15 years in carrying out similar kind of responsibilities in a reputed organization/professional body.
  • He/she shall have Masters degree preferably in Mass Communication or Administration with a very good communication and managerial capabilities, and shall be well-versed with working with office communication tools.
  • Candidates who have retired from reputed organizations, holding similar kind of work experience, less than 65 years of age and in sound health can also be considered.


2. Chief Manager (Education and Certification programs)
Should be a seasoned IT practitioner with BE (in an ICT-related discipline) or MCA, preferably with preferably MBA (Systems)/M Tech/ME in CSE/IT with about 15-20 years of IT Industry experience. Should be fully aware of industry skill requirements and have adequate contacts within Top IT companies at senior levels. He/She will assist in creation & running Centers of Excellence for certification, design & conduct of corporate training programs, organizing & conduct of partner- or Govt-driven FDPs and student programs, working with identified subject matter experts (volunteers) for developing new curriculum / courseware etc. With respect to CSI certifications, he/she should be able to get the Industry participation in:
    a. Course content review for industry relevance,
    b. Examination of candidates on completion
    c. Placement (absorption) of successful candidates

3. Regional managers
IT professional with about 5- 10 years of Technology Training marketing experience. Responsibilities will include membership development in colleges/polytechnics/school (Institutional and student branches), marketing of CSI's existing and new workshops, marketing of our proposed certifications, liaison with local identified subject matter experts and volunteers for developing new workshops/training programs etc.

4. Accounts Officers
MCom or MBA (Finance) with about 3-5 years experience in on-line book-keeping and accounting, with experience of consolidation of multi-branch accounts.
