SAP : Trends and new products
Hello All,

There seems a great lack of discussion as well as knowledge-sharing here, as far as the field of one of the most widely used ERP packages of the world - that is SAP.
During my stint with this package in my career with different MNCs one thing that I have become sure of, is that, this SAP world is going to stay for a long long time; and the market for this is growing exponentially. So, I thought of sharing with you some important links with you all as to where we are heading towards with respect to the SAP technology world.

Innovation is a key component of SAP technology strategy. This strategy defines the next generation technology platform, which is the set of critical technology capabilities that will underpin the next generation of SAP applications. These critical technology capabilities apply state-of-the-art and emerging concepts such as cloud-computing, in-memory business data management, virtualization, security, and consumption models such as mobile; they enable timeless software principles; they promote openness and interoperability through standards and they facilitate open source integration.

Some links for the newest and upcoming SAP technologies are --
