Administration
Administratively, SIG-FOSS shall be an independent cell within the CSI Administrative Structure. This is in order to provide it with the necessary autonomy to fulfill its potential.SIG-FOSS shall be provided with start-up funds that would allow it to initiate its activities. Subsequently, it is expected to generate its own revenue from its activities. All books of account shall be maintained at the CSI HQ. Cheques and other financial instruments shall be jointly operated by two of the following three: Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.
The present Chair of SIG-FOSS is Mr. Satish Babu, and Co-Chair Mr. H.R.Mohan. Student Activity Co-ordinator for the SIG will be Prof. H.R.Vishwakarma, Hon.Secretary of CSI.
