Welcome to Goa Chapter

CSI Goa Chapter was inaugurated on October 11, 1983 by the (then)Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Pratapsing Rane. Its membership today is around 150+ individual members with 100+student members and continuously growing.

Objectives

  • To promote interchange of information in informatics related disciplines amongst the specialists and between the specialists and the public
  • To assist professionals to maintain the integrity and competence of theprofession
  • To foster a sense of parternership amongst professionals engaged in these fields

CSI,Goa Chapter acquired its own premises in May 1994 at Naguesh Apts. in Panjim.Our Chapter now has its own bi-monthly newsletter,ConnectivITy, the first issue being in November 1998. We also subscribe to a number of IT magazines; PC Quest, CHIP, PC World, LAN magazine, etc., which are available to members at the CSI office.
