The panel discussion started with the inaugural speech by Prof G.V.Garje. He emphasize on the project as an opportunity to learn technical as well as other non technical skills, its importance as the future of an engineering graduate, university requirements etc.
The entire session was very interactive where students asked various questions related to project (which includes sponsored Vs nonsponsored, finding project ideas, industry expectations, job opportunity, latest trends/technologies etc) which were answered by the panel members.
The industry experts focus on the need of sincere efforts from student’s side to successfully complete the project irrespective whether it is sponsored or nonsponsored. They gave some tips about where to find information, the need of good search, using library resources for keeping updated about latest happenings in the technology front. The concluding fact is that really a good implemented project opens many opportunities for the students as well as industry benefits from sponsoring such projects.
