“Emerging Software Engineering Paradigms”
Computer Society of India, Vijayawada chapter, has organized a seminar on “Emerging Software Engineering Paradigms” in association with Department of Computer Science, P.G.Centre, P.B.Siddhartha College, Vijayawada, on September 11, 2009. Dr.S.Lakshmi Narayana, Scientist E1, National Institute of Oceanography, Visakhapatnam, Prof.R.R.L.Kantam, Department of Statistics, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Sri S.R.T.Rama Swamy, Executive Manager (R&D), Efftronics, Vijayawada and Sri S.Rambabu, CEO, SSIT, Vijayawada were the resource persons. MCA, M.Sc.(CS) and B.Tech. Students, Industry Experts and Faculty of various colleges participated in the seminar.
“Personality Development”
Computer Society of India, Vijayawada chapter, has organized a half-day seminar on “Personality Development” in association with Department of Computer Science, P.G.Centre, P.B.Siddhartha College, Vijayawada, on October 22, 2009. Sri Chandra Sekhar Valmiki, Chandra Sekhar Valmiki Institute of Leadership and Linguistics, Hyderabad was the resource person. Computer Science students participated in this seminar.

Organized a guest lecture on “Software Engineering” by Sri N.Vara Prasad, ARETE SERVICES, Vijayawada for Computer Science students on November 11, 2009 at P.G.Centre, P.B.Siddhartha College.
“Enterprise Risk Management”
Organizing a workshop on “Enterprise Risk Management” at P.G.Centre, P.B.Siddhartha College, Vijayawada, on December 19, 2009. Sri Anand Prakash Jangid, Infosys Technologies Limited, Bangalore will be the resource person. The faculty members from the Departments of Computer Science, Commerce and Business Administration and Chartered Accountants will be the participants in this workshop.
“Technical Student Paper Contest”
CSI, Vijayawada Chapter is planning to be a sponsor for “Technical Student Paper Contest” at P.V.P.Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Vijayawada, during January, 2010. Computer Science students from various Engineering Colleges will be the participants.
“Emerging Technologies in Computer Science & Engineering”
CSI, Vijayawada Chapter is planning to sponsor cash awards for best paper for International Conference on “Emerging Technologies in Computer Science & Engineering” organized at V.R.Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada, during February, 2010. Faculty from various colleges and Industry Delegates will be the participants.
