| Contribution to CSI | : | - CSI Bhopal Chapter was run by a small group of dedicated professional. Started association with Bhopal chapter in 1999 after getting a posting in Bhopal. Worked for THE betterment of CSI and brought a turnaround in Bhopal Chapter.
- With professional and managerial competence, provided mentoring & support to various committees and sub-committees to organize various events on e regular basis.
- Provided direction and support for creating high visibility and high value to Bhopal chapter of CSI.
- The then Chief Minister of MP Sri Digvijay Singh announced the launch of State IT awards of Rs. 4.00 lacs each year from CSI’s platform during Bhopal chapter’s annual convention. These awards were to be a joint venture of CSI and the State Government.
- Instrumental in bringing MP to the center stage of e-Governance initiatives in the country. Bhopal chapter played an important role in shaping MP’s IT Policy, it’s a key partner in e-Governance projects of the State, leading to this year’s best e-Governed State award being given to MP. CSI’s Bhopal chapter participates in various committees and panels for providing consultation and guidance for various IT related activity in the State.
- During my tenure as Chairman of the chapter Government of MP allotted office premises for the chapter to carry out its activity at a nominal rent.
- A National level event was organized in joint association with NASSCOM to promote IT investment in the state. The program was chaired by the then President of NASSCOM Shri Kiran Karnik.
- The first seminar on Roadmap for e-Governance in the state was organized by CSI, Bhopal Chapter jointly with Department of IT, GoMP which gave momentum to the e- Governance initiatives in the State of MP.

| Honors & Awards | : | - Child Record Information System (ChRIS, http://www.cris.nic.in) developed in Jabalpur division is the winner of The “Computer Society of India – Nihilent e-Governance Award 2006-07” for “Best e-Governance Project – G2C Rural” at CSI annual convention at Bangalore on 1st December, 2007.
- Child Record Information System (ChRIS, http://www.cris.nic.in ) developed in Jabalpur division got an award of Rs. 100000.00 by Government of MP for “Excellence in e-Governance Initiatives in Madhya Pradesh” as “Best Project for fulfilling the objective of IT for Masses” at Bhopal on 6th June, 2007.
- “Integrated Treasuries Computerization Project & Cyber Treasury” of Finance Department, Government of MP was presented by the Government of India with “Gold Icon” of “National Award for e-Governance” for “Exemplary Horizontal Transfer of ICT based Practice” during 10th National Conference of e-Governance at Bhopal on 15th February, 2007
- State Governor’s appreciation for organizing Madhya Pradesh State Government’s pavilion winning Gold Medal for State Government during India international Trade Fair – 1998.
- Letter of appreciation by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for outstanding work done under Total Literacy Campaign in Hoshagabad district.
- Special commendation from the Government of India for outstanding work in the field of household savings by women.
- State Governor's special award and trophies for commendable services to the Indian Red Cross Society in 1995 and 1996 and nomination to the state level executive committee of the state branch of Red Cross Society.

| STATEMENT OF INTENT | |
I intend to serve the CSI in the capacity of Vice President (Region. III) and wish to concentrate and promote excellence in the application areas of Information and Communication Technology. If elected I will:
1. Do my best to elevate the present status of CSI and bring it to perform more active role in Information and Communication Industry by way of participation in task force, committees and forums especially constituted to bring in the revolution of IT in the country.
2. Shall divert my official contacts & capacity to bring in the Information & Communication Technology together with the common citizen and enable them to adopt ICT in such a way that it becomes a way of life. This I foresee to achieve through vigorous coordination of CSI and Government bodies falling under my region. Wider participation of academia, governments, students, communities in ICT utilization.
3. Accelerating the membership drive by spreading the ICT culture.
4. Bringing in more professionalism in the society by advocacy of clear vision, high targets, good culture and elite membership.
5. Divert our focus to a higher forum and this in my present capacity can be done in a better way. We need to rejuvenate ourselves to take CSI to greater heights.
6. Work for technology led inclusive growth promoting Excellence, Professionalization, and R&D amongst CSI members.
7. Promote e-Governance; e-learning, M-learning to build up verticals in emerging technology for rural sector in particular.
8. Accelerate e-learning technologies to generate newer knowledge in areas like Cloud Computing etc. etc by promoting National level seminars.
